Michael C. Zettlemoyer, 58, of Maxatawny Township, died May 22, 2012 in his residence. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Carl E. and Lucille J. (Zuberka) Zettlemoyer, Maxatawny Township.
He was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny.
He was a 1973 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and a veteran of the United States Army.
Zettlemoyer was a self-employed truck driver. Prior to that, he worked for Gorman Brothers Paving, Albany, N.Y., and Miller Transfer and Rigging, Bloomsburg.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved the outdoors and especially his grandsons.
Survivors: Parents; daughter, Stacey J. (Zettlemoyer), wife of Heath R. Fegely, Lenhartsville; son, James, husband of Mellissa Mauch, Newel, SD; sister, Sharon P. (Zettlemoyer), wife of Timothy L. Tyson, Jonestown, Lebanon County; brother, Stephen E., husband of Pamela K. (Dieter) Zettlemoyer, Kutztown; grandsons, Rowdy Mauch, Ivan R. and Dane C. Fegely.
Funeral services will be held May 25, at 6:30 p.m. from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with the Reverend Jimmy Lee Werley officiating. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call Friday, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
