Dennis G. Fitzgerald

Dennis Grover Fitzgerald, 69, of Kutztown, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Born in Maxatawny Twp, PA on May 22, 1943, Dennis was the son of Marian Stein Fitzgerald and the late George Fitzgerald.

He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Duke basketball fan. Dennis enjoyed visits with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his time coaching Kempton Little League baseball. Dennis was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by 3 children: Patrick D. Fitzgerald of Kutztown; Matthew E. Fitzgerald of New Tripoli, PA; and Jill K. Fitzgerald of Philadelphia. 4 grandchildren: Grant, Nolan, Jade, and Henry. 3 sisters: Carol, Gloria, and Katherine.

Services are private at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis' name may be made to the Kutztown Youth Athletic Assn., or the Northwestern Youth Athletic Assn., c/o Patrick Fitzgerald, 19 Sweet Corn Dr., Kutztown, PA 19530.
