Nick Distasio pitched a two-hit shutout tonight to lead the Oley-Topton Sr. American Legion baseball Patriots to a 5-0 victory over Tulpehocken in the second round of the Schuylkill-Berks League. The Patriots received a bye in the first round.

Luke Erb had a pair of hits to lead the Patriot offense.

The victory means the Patriots go on to the winner’s bracket final on Saturday night at George Rulon Field in Shillington where the remaining games of the tournament will be played.

All this leads to the championship game on Tuesday, July 17, at First Energy Field in Reading when the winner of the North Division Tournament will take on the winner of the South Division champion.
