The free Honey Brook summer Concert in the Park 2012 series opens on June 17, at Honey Brook Borough Park with the classic rock musical group RK3 performing from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. RK3, which normally plays as a trio consisting of brothers Marc and Flip Britton and John and Jim Knobler, will appear at the concert along with fellow musician (and Honey Brook native) Rob Corry.

The Britton and Knobler brothers have known each other for quite some time, going back to when they played the same music circuits at popular shore locations as parts of different acts. They eventually came to make music together before separating in the mid-1980s, but then began playing together again just over five years ago.

We are all real musicians… …classically trained, but we always try to have a lot of fun when we play,” said RK3 member Flip Britton. “(For the concert we) will be playing a lot of cover songs from the 70s and 80s, as well as more modern songs.”
