Summer Day Camp At Joanna Furnace - Junior Apprenticeship Guild (JAG) is offering two summer camp sessions where children can experience period crafts such as blacksmithing, papermaking, open hearth cooking and more. Daniel Boone Homestead History Day Camp - July 17 through July 19, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Colonial adventure where kids experience what Daniel Boone did growing up here. The Hay Creek Valley Historical Association Chicken BBQ dinner -July 21st from 4 to 6 pm at Historic Joanna Furnace. The dinner will include a ½ chicken, baked beans, a potato, fruit or vegetable, dinner roll, and a beverage. Meals can be eaten in or taken out.
