The Birdsboro Police Department has reported that over the past two weeks vandals have been victimizing the areas of E. 8th, E. 9th, Berks, and Union Streets, as well as Ted’s Ct. and Denise Dr. While the Police Department has made a number of arrests in the past months for similar activity, the vandalism continues to occur in the evening between the hours of 10 p.m. – 4 a.m.

Intelligence information obtained by officers reveals that some or most of the vandals are from the same neighborhoods which are being vandalized, and are between the ages of 13 and 15. The department wishes to remind the public that youths out at this time are in violation of the Borough’s Curfew Ordinance. Residents are asked to please notify the Police Department at 610-582-6037 if they observe youths roaming the streets during the aforementioned times. As always, residents should immediately dial 911 if witnessing a crime in progress.

Please help the Police Department bring an end to this nonsensical destruction of property by becoming involved.
