Faye Shingle, 73, of Terre Hill

Faye A. Shingle , 73, of College Ave., Terre Hill, died Wed., Aug. 1, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Shingle in 1987.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the Mildred (Hillard) Given and the late Albert Given.

She enjoyed country music and eating out.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her sons, Brian Jay, married to Barb (Wharton) Shingle,Terre Hill, and Alan Ray, married to Lisa (Shepherd) Shingle, Honey Brook, a daughter Lori L., married to Charles Ken Weaver, Lancaster, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, a brother Doug Given, Quarryville, and sisters Dorothy Weidman, Lebanon, and Linda Walter, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon K. McFalls.

A graveside service was held on Monday, Aug. 6, at 2:30 p.m. at Rock Cemetery, Elverson. Arrangements were made with Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill. Condolences may be posted to www.groffeckenroth.com
