Hospice & Community Care, founded as Hospice of Lancaster County, is seeking used cars for their 28th Annual Labor Day Auction. To be considered for the Used Car Auction, cars or trucks must be in good running condition, with up-to-date paperwork, including a clear title, registration and inspection.
“We are asking for community assistance,” said Natalie Scolnick, Hospice & Community Care Special Events Coordinator, “as the Labor Day Auction is only weeks away and we haven’t received any donations of vehicles as of yet.”
According to Scolnick, the Used Car Auction portion of the Labor Day Auction is a vital element in the event’s success. The Auction is the organization’s largest fundraising event and provides funds for Hospice & Community Care patients and families coping with serious illness, end of life and bereavement.
Hospice & Community Care’s 28th Annual Labor Day Auction will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Monday, September 3, 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m. at the Lampeter Fairgrounds, Rt. 741, in Lampeter. For more information or to donate a vehicle, contact Natalie Skolnick at (717) 735-2497.
