The man allegedly responsible for hitting a 13-year-old boy with his conversion van Saturday afternoon was arrested after police were able to track him down through information from witnesses at the scene.

Jeremiah Johnson, 29, of 500 Jackson Road in Douglass (Mont.), was arrested after police traced the driver’s license number obtained by witnesses to his white Ford Econoline Van at his residence, Douglass (Mont.) Police said in a Sunday press release.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Virmay Drive and Mensch Lane around 4:40 p.m. Saturday.
