Recapping Chester County’s first 4-H Poultry Show

HONEY BROOK, PA - The Chester County 4-H Poultry Show was held at the Romano 4-H Center of Chester County on Rt. 322, Honey Brook, August 15, 2012. A total of 13 chickens were exhibited by eight 4-H members. This was the first time Chester County 4-H held a poultry show.

Kurt Miller of Honey Brook did a fine job not only judging, but also instructing the 4-Hers in how to improve their animals and their showmanship skills.

Aiden Peterson of Honey Brook was Outstanding Senior Showman.

Rose Johnson of Elverson was Outstanding Junior Showman.

The Chester County 4-H Poultry Show was just one of the many shows being held during the Chester County 4-H Fair on August 13-18at the Romano 4-H Center of Chester County on Route 322 in Honey Brook.
