Bryan S. Reid, a Honey Brook resident who was airlifted to Reading Hospital following a late morning automobile accident at Shirktown Rd. and Little Hill Rd. in Caernarvon Township on the morning of September 24, 2012, perished later that same day as a result of the serious injuries he sustained in the indecent.

A report from the Pennsylvania State Police stated that at 11:17 a.m. Reid, who was traveling south on Shirktown Road on a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle, collided with a 2005 GMC pickup truck driven by Steven Lloyd Mast of Narvon. Mast, who was traveling south on Shirktown Rd., “made a left turn at the intersection directly in front” of Reid at the intersection of Shirktown Rd. and Little Hill Rd., according to the report filed by Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Cody Clark.

Mast was transported by ambulance to Reading Hospital and later discharged. Information on the extent of Mast’s injuries was not available.

At the time of this filing, no information has been attained regarding whether or not Mast will face charges resulting from the incident.
