Tomorrow’s Heirlooms To Be Auctioned At Garden Spot Village

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — An heirloom Caswell-Runyan cedar chest will be one of many one-of-a-kind items on the block when Garden Spot Village holds its 16th annual Fall Festival & Benefit Auction on Sat., Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the campus of the retirement community at 433 S. Kinzer Ave.
“The chest was a group project by several members of the Garden Spot Village woodshop,” said Linda Dodge, director of development at Garden Spot Village. “We are grateful for the generosity of all those who have donated items and services for our live and silent auctions.”
The chest had been donated to the community’s Share and Care Shop, where the woodshop members discovered a diamond in the rough.
