Reading, Pa. – Albright College will host a forum for students interested in learning about the business of fashion on Saturday, October 27, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Science Center. Registration is $20 per person full day; $15 half day (both options include lunch/keynote speaker).
The keynote address will be offered by Walter Meck, president/chief executive officer, Fessler USA, Orwigsburg, Pa., at 12:30 p.m., in Science Center, room 256. FesslerUSA, a leading domestic private label knitwear producer, is a family-owned business since the early 1900s.
Breakout sessions will be led by industry representatives from Boscov’s, David’s Bridal, DKNY, LaForce + Stevens, Pollack Furs, Majestic Athletic and Marijean Jerrell. They will cover topics such as product development, the design process, visual merchandising, public relations and buying.
