The Covered Bridge on Covered Bridge Road in Oley, PA was still open today, but waters were still high and flowing quickly.

“I think the borough fared much better than we had feared, and I believe most people affected by the storm here have recovered and are back to normal,” said Chief Barry Leatherman of Boyertown Police.

Several downed trees in the Boyertown Community Park keep borough crews busy.

The Boyertown Community Park lost several trees as a result of the storm, therefore the Borough of Boyertown has decided to close the park until the area is cleared and safe for visitors. Borough crews are working to restore the area quickly.
