Lancaster - The Children’s Choir of Lancaster, the area’s premier children’s choir, announces two audition sessions for both boys and girls grades three through twelve on Monday, December 10 at 5:45 and 6:15 p.m., 2012. The auditions will be held at the Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster. Previous singing experience is not necessary, but audition appointments are required.

The open auditions are designed for young people ages eight to eighteen with an unchanged/treble voice, who love to sing, possess and positive attitude, sing in tune, with a demonstrated good sense of rhythm and who will commit to a full year membership.

CCL’s program focuses on training children who may not necessarily have had previous singing experience, but who are dedicated to achieving excellence in vocal technique, choral singing and classical music. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to match pitch, follow instructions, and thrive in a structured, but supportive learning environment.
