10K in Scholarships Awarded To Twin Valley High School Students

Reading, PA – The Berks County Community Foundation recently distributed scholarships valued at $10,000 to students from Twin Valley High School. The scholarships and recipients were:

Jan Millard Memorial Fund: awarded in the amount of $5,000 to David SchwartzThis scholarship is for Berks County students who participated on the boys cross-country team during high school, with preference given to students from the Twin Valley School District.

Dorothy S. Groff Scholarship Fund: awarded in the amount of $5,000 to Max Bicking. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students in the senior class in the Twin Valley School District on the basis of mathematical ability and overall character and attitude.

Berks County Community Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that serves as a civic leader for our region by developing, managing and distributing funds to meet existing and emerging community needs. More information is available at www.bccf.org.
