Supervisor Doug Maitland said he will resign at the end of 2012. He is moving to Mt. Airy, Maryland. His term runs to the end of 2013. He said it is up to the two remaining supervisors to appoint someone to fill out his term.

Road Master Terry Martin was subsequently appointed to fill out Maitland’s term.

“We are looking at some well qualified candidates” said Supervisor Gary VanDyke. Martin can serve as Supervisor and Road Master. There are supervisors in other neighboring townships who also serve as Road Master.
