ELANCO Library to Host Annual Prom Dress Sale

Local teens are invited to bring in their retired formal dresses to the ELANCO Library for an opportunity to sell them to other girls from around the county. This is a great way to find a fabulous prom dress while saving BIG money — or possibly making some! Dresses will be on display for an entire week so more girls can have a chance to search for the perfect dress. This is the sixth year for the annual event; last year, over 100 dresses were available to choose from.

Gently used, clean formal dresses may be dropped off at the ELANCO Children’s Library starting on Monday, February 25. Dress owners set their own price for the gowns and may include matching shoes and accessories in the sale. Please note that dresses should be less than five years old and there is a limit of five dresses dropped off per person.

The dresses will be available for purchase the following dates and times:

Saturday, March 2 from 10am to 1pm

Monday through Thursday, March 4-7 from 3pm to 8pm

Friday, March 8 from 11am to 1pm

Saturday, March 9 from 10am to 1pm.
