On Friday, March 1, members of the Twin Valley Green Machine Jazz Ensemble, with Alto Sax solo Jeff Mathews, participated in a Midnight Jazz Fest hosted by Brandywine Heights High School. The Masters of Ceremonies for the evening were Margaret Reighn and Alan Reighn. In addition to TV’s Green Machine there were performances by Brandywine Heights Middle School Jazz Ensemble with trumpet soloist Harry Mayrhofer; Fleetwood “Cadillacs” Jazz Ensemble; Hamburg “Hawktones” Jazz Ensemble with guitarist Josh Peters and vocalist Jessica Palko; Reading High School “Castleaires” Jazz Ensemble; Schuylkill Valley High School Jazz Ensemble; and Brandywine Heights High School “Midnight Riders” Jazz Ensemble with Clarinet David Mayrhofer and Vocalist Hannah Reed.
